Masterplanning: Visitor Centre and Special Exhibition at Mark Twain Center | Heidelberg

The Mark Twain Centre, is a meeting place and cultural centre on the theme of German-American relations. It is to be situated in the Campbell Barracks in Heidelberg, the former headquarters of the American Forces in Europe. Duncan McCauley have completed the masterplanning phase of the project to adapt the listed building for new use with minimal interventions to the historic building substance. The development in the second phase includes an immersive visitor experience of the story of the German-American relationship in the twentieth century.
