Land in motion

Exhibition - Land in motion
7 min. 1-channel video, 6-channel audio, 2005

The video installation is conceptualised as a mobile travelling exhibition inside redesigned mining buses, as well as being a fixed component of the IBA exhibition of the same name. Using a combination of animated sequences and recorded film material, it tells the history of Lusatia in an entertaining way, from the formation of coal to a view of future IBA projects. The film conveys a feeling for the region suspended between post-mining landscapes and visions for the future.
